Earthwork takeoffs
Cut and fill quantities from your site plans
Send your site plans and we run cut/fill and material takeoffs in takeoff software. You get back quantities by material, net import or export, and the truck count and haul sequence that go with them.
Included in the $1,500/month Ongoing Dirt Advisor plan. One-off commercial takeoffs are quoted to scope.

FAQ
Takeoff questions
What is an earthwork takeoff?
An earthwork takeoff measures how much soil a site needs cut, filled, imported, or hauled off, using the existing and proposed grades on the plans. It is the number every dirt bid, truck schedule, and material order is built on.
How much does an earthwork takeoff cost?
Takeoffs are included in the Ongoing Dirt Advisor plan at $1,500/month, for teams with steady work. A one-off commercial takeoff is quoted to scope once we see the plan set.
What file formats do you accept?
PDF plan sets, DWG or DXF CAD files, photos, and ZIP archives, up to 50 MB per file and 10 files per request. Bigger sets can be emailed to support@filldirtnearme.net.
How fast do I get the takeoff back?
It depends on the size of the plan set and how clean the grading data is. We confirm the turnaround when we review your files, before any work starts.
Are your takeoffs stamped or engineered?
No. They are planning, bidding, and ordering quantities from experienced dirt people. Where a quantity must hold up contractually, your surveyor or engineer of record has the final say.
Can you also supply the dirt?
Yes. Fill Dirt Near Me delivers fill dirt, structural fill, select fill, and topsoil, so a takeoff can turn straight into a priced material and trucking plan.
Fill Dirt Near Me provides practical dirt, trucking, and sitework planning advice based on supply and delivery experience. We are not a licensed engineering or geotechnical firm, are not the engineer of record, and do not provide engineered designs, compaction specifications, or stamped plans. Where a project requires them, those come from your licensed engineer.
