Sand in Apex
Sand delivery in Apex starts at $22/yard delivered. Apex sits on the Triassic Basin: dense clay subsoil with high shrink-swell potential that drains slowly, typical of the Triassic Basin under western Wake County. Sand is a key drainage material against clay; sand layers under slabs, pavers, and utility lines keep water from pooling against structures, and construction sand is the standard bedding for plumbing and conduit trenches. We carry construction sand (coarse, angular grain for compaction), masonry sand (fine, smooth grain for mortar and leveling), and play sand (washed, rounded grain safe for sandboxes). All sand is screened and delivered clean.
